Hello, I am Michelle Lee.
I am a full-time Photographer and Event Manager from Melbourne, Australia.
I have a passion for photography, events and travel which has allowed me to experience, travel and explore some amazing places and meet some incredible people who have helped shape me into the person I have become today.
It's hard to really narrow down a niche for me as I've never been the type of girl to just settle on one type of creative outlet. But if I had too I would say that I specialise in Event Photography, Live Entertainment, Family & Couple Portraits and Weddings. Though I do like to dabble here and there in other genres, so if you don't see a style on my website please don't hesitate to ask as I don't post everything.
My style of photography is very natural and has a documentary style type approach both with capturing the moment itself through to the editing process. I don't like to go too crazy with over edits as I like photos to reflect how things are in real life rather than photos that are ones people will look back on and go 'oh my gosh' what was my photographer thinking?
I have been a freelance photographer for the last 10 years whilst I have also been working in the corporate world and in the Events Industry nationally and Internationally as an Event Manager (see, I told you I cant just stick to one thing!). Having that Events background is something which I think sets me apart not only in my approach with clients, but with the type of photography I can offer as I see things from a marketing perspective whilst also being able to capture the event like a patron.
When not out capturing photos or working an event I love to read, relax at home, travel and find subjects to photograph that challenge my skills.
